Immersive LED Large Screen
When it comes to large LED screens, few people will associate it with photography. But in fact, with the advancement of technology and changes in consumption habits, it is not impossible to apply large LED screens to photo studios with traditional static sets.
The vast majority of traditional studio photography uses static backgrounds, including various paper products and textiles. The background of these materials has the advantage of low cost and easy replacement, but it is not without disadvantages.
Since it is a static print, it is necessary to manually flip the background whenever the background is changed during shooting. Especially, it is very time-consuming and troublesome to find what you need in a pile of backgrounds.
Also due to the static method, once printed, it is difficult to make changes. In order to attract and retain customers, photo studios often need to create a sense of freshness, which creates a huge demand for background cloth/background paper, and requires frequent purchases and considerable costs in the later stage.
In addition, because it is a printed matter, after a period of use, especially under the illumination of high-brightness photography lights, the picture is likely to have problems such as fading, lightening, and old age, and it is difficult to achieve the initial bright color. Moreover, repeated rummaging can easily cause damage to the background cloth/paper and affect the service life. Some backgrounds are also prone to problems such as deformation after a period of use.
The next question is some points that affect the user experience. For example, some photographers will reflect that the background paper, especially the glossy paper, is easy to produce reflections, and some background cloth will produce interference fringes during digital shooting, which will cause trouble to the shooting.
In fact, if you look at all traditional industries based on visual experience, it is not difficult to find that consumers are increasingly demanding immersive experiences. For example, an immersive restaurant surrounded by a virtual digital background, a planetarium visit experience surrounded by a virtual universe, and so on. As the market is gradually educated by more industries, people will also tend to have an immersive experience with photography backgrounds in the future.
To solve the above problems, it still needs the blessing of black technology. The use of large LED screens as stage performances, exhibition displays, and studio backgrounds is now quite common. The LED screen can be easily replaced, creating a sense of freshness in real time, so that repeat customers have the desire to come again. And the use of electronic display, there is no fading, deformation, damage and other problems. And because today’s large LED screens have been evolved and upgraded on the technical side, there will be no problems such as moiré and interference fringes that interfere with shooting when faced with digital shooting in high-definition and ultra-high-definition formats.
In terms of effects, due to the use of real-time sampling, real-time rendering and other technologies, when the character stands in front of the screen, the picture on the screen will also be adjusted accordingly, so the effect looks particularly realistic. In fact, LED screens have been widely used in many professional film studios at home and abroad, and many filmmakers have also gotten rid of the traditional way of filming on green screens, effects on post-production, and performance on imagination.
