Introduction of several boxes commonly used in LED displays

The LED display screen with a large area is not a single structure, it is composed of N cabinets spliced together. The box plays an important role in the display, which can not only protect the internal components, but also split the LED display for easy transportation and maintenance. Learn about the common LED display cabinets on the market.

Introduction of several boxes commonly used in LED displays

1. Iron box

The iron box is a common box on the market. Its advantages are cheap, good sealing, and easy to change the shape and structure. The shortcomings are also more obvious. The weight of the iron box is too high, which is not easy to install and transport. In addition, its strength and precision are not enough, and it is easy to rust after a long time.

2. Die-cast aluminum box

The die-cast aluminum box is often used in rental display screens. It is characterized by high strength and precision, and light weight. More importantly, it can achieve seamless splicing, which can have a better effect on the screen display. The die-casting aluminum LED display adopts one-time molding molding, the flatness of the box is more guaranteed, the tolerance range is effectively controlled, and the problem of box joints is basically solved; the humanized design is more convenient and lighter to install, and the box joints and connecting lines are more connected. Reliable; light in weight, using hoisting structure, more convenient and firmer to install; using imported power connectors, the connection is safer and more reliable. The signal and power cables between the boxes are connected in a concealed way, and no traces of the cables can be seen after installation.

3. Carbon fiber box

The carbon fiber box design is ultra-thin, light in weight, good in strength, with a tensile strength of 1500kg, and the weight per square meter is only 9.4kg. The fully modular design makes maintenance more convenient. The 45-degree right-angle side can realize 90-degree splicing and installation of the screen body. At the same time, non-transparent backplane is provided, which is suitable for large-scale installation in stadiums and outdoor advertising lights.

4. Aluminum alloy box

The characteristics of this LED box are that the density is relatively small, the strength is very high, and the heat dissipation is good, the shock absorption is good, and it can withstand a certain load capacity.

5. Magnesium alloy box

Magnesium alloys are alloys composed of magnesium-based and other elements. Its characteristics are: low density, high strength, good heat dissipation, good shock absorption, greater impact load capacity than aluminum alloy, and good corrosion resistance to organic substances and alkalis. Magnesium alloys are used as LED display cabinets with high cost performance, easy installation, and excellent heat dissipation, which makes the products more market-leading. But at the same time, the price of magnesium alloy cabinets is also higher than other cabinets.
