The opening ceremony adopted a full LED solution, including 11600㎡ huge LED floor tile display + 1200㎡ ice waterfall + 600㎡ ice cube + 143㎡ Olympic five rings + 1000㎡ LED large screens on both sides of the bird’s nest, forming a world The largest high-definition LED three-dimensional stereo stage. The diameter of the main torch stand for the opening ceremony is 14.89 meters. It is composed of 96 LED double-sided screens in the shape of small snowflakes and 6 LED double-sided screens in the shape of olive branches. It adopts a double-sided hollow design and is embedded with more than 550,000 LED lamp beads. These 550,000 lamp beads not only ensure that the double-sided “shine” of the big snowflake, but also can realize the “visual” change display: for example, when the main torch is inserted into the center base of the big snowflake, the giant snowflake screen radiates and shines from the center to the surroundings It emits a wave-like layer of progressive light.
In the performance of the opening ceremony, in addition to the obvious LED applications such as snow screens, ground screens, and ice waterfalls, the giant five rings, the peace dove in the hands of children, and the live broadcast screens of various venues are all excellent applications of “LED” technology.
